If just one woman changes her mind, and decides to experiment with dresses, then this article has done its job correctly. There are various styles of dress, which can be separated into different categories depending on their cut. There are many styles of dress, from the casual dress that can be worn every day, to the formal dress that is generally worn only on special occasions. In this latter category is the gown, made famous through various fairytales, such as Cinderella and Rapunzel – and many girls spend their childhoods dreaming of the opportunity when they can finally wear a gown themselves. In adulthood, there are many opportunities for wearing such a dress, most notable are the end-of-school Dinner Dance, graduation ceremonies, and most of all, weddings. The gown style dress is arguably the most feminine style of dress, flattering the figure in a manner that is attractive, and yet, not too revealing. Although they are not ‘sexy’ in the sense that a little black dress may be, they are supremely alluring nonetheless.Beyond the gown, there are various styles of casual dress, such as the mini-dress, the sheath dress, the shift dress, the sweater dress…so much so, in fact, that women are spoilt for choice. Fashion Tips For Moms – How to Avoid Looking Dumpy

No mom wants to look dumpy, but after having kids it’s hard not to look short, stout and worn out. There are some things that any mom can do to look her best that don’t cost an arm and a leg. Many times a mom will let herself go after having kids. It’s mostly a mental thing, she thinks that since she’s had kids she’s done and doesn’t need to make herself look good anymore. Also, she could be depressed that the pregnancy made her fat and saggy. Money is also sometimes short after having a kid, and many women sacrifice their own sense of fashion to afford all of the products necessary for baby. Here are some tips to remember so that you’ll always look as good as you can.Work With What You Have – While it may be true that you can’t fit into your pre-pregnancy clothes you can still rock what you have. Looking your best is a matter of confidence and how you feel. If you feel down in the dumps your appearance is close behind. You can be that smart and sassy looking mom that everyone raves about, or you can be the downtrodden mom that is just going through the motions when it comes to fashion.Start Exercising – Chances are you used being pregnant as an excuse to let yourself go a bit. Eating for two is a great way to pack on the pounds. Even though you should have been exercising throughout most of your pregnancy, most women don’t and the combination of eating anything in their way and not exercising leads to a large amount of weight gain. The good news is you can start getting back to your previous weight with consistent exercise and a diet of moderation. Hopefully being pregnant didn’t ingrain bad eating habits into you.Be Creative – Don’t be afraid to try a new style out. Perhaps it could be something that you’ve always wanted to try but for whatever reason you didn’t. Find a new style in your favorite fashion magazine and try to replicate it using economy priced clothing. This is a time for you to re-invent yourself. Maybe you’re short on time and use that as an excuse to not try new looks, but you have to make time for yourself and your psyche and well-being.Give It Your Best – Many women tend to give up on fashion and their appearance and end up looking dumpy out of lack of trying. If you just give it your all the world will respond in kind. It will make you feel great and these feelings will create a nice environment for your kids to be in. Plus no kid wants to be the one with the drab mom that phones it in.

In every season there are new trends of fashion that sometimes spring up like wild flowers and at other times come back from hibernation. From bold colors to crop tops, this Summer we are veering away form traditional rules of matchmaking in fashion and trying on a bolder approach of blending different styles, colors and patterns. Color blocking, crop tops and maxi skirts are the three major trends that seem to be dominating the fashion scene this summer.Color Blocking

Bold colors like turquoise, magenta, yellows and plums are upstaging all other colors on the color wheel. This season, women are encouraged to match colors like plum and tangerine, blue and yellow, turquoise and fuchsia. All over the Runways from Prada to Gucci these color pallets and combinations are uplifting and energizing. One thing to consider with this trend are the extra looks and gazes that will surely come your way, so make sure you’re ready for the attention. Perhaps what was seen before as clashing now is erupting with a new kind of popularity. If you want to veer away form solids, there are many patterns that you can choose from that are embodying this color palette. If you tend to be a pair shape (smaller on top with a wider bottom half), try pairing a bright colored, patterned top with a darker, solid bottom for a balanced and fashionable look.Crop Tops

These belly bearing tops have been taking over the summer fashion. Yves Saint Laurent, Rodarte and Salvatore Ferragamo have all featured the crop tops paired with maxi skirts or pantsuits on their runways. Although a flat tummy is favored for this trend, a fashion tip if you have a tummy pouch is to pair a crop top with high waisted maxi skirt, shorts or pants to hide the stomach and bring attention to your ribcage instead. Go for bold colors like magenta, orange, green and blues. If you’ve never worn a crop top before, I encourage you to try this style; you might be surprised with the result.Maxi Skirts

Long, flowy skirts are a fresh breath from the maxi dresses. Still sexy and alluring these skirts have an endless pairing variety factor. Color block a maxi skirt with a crop top for fashionable and fun outfit. There are many styles of maxi skirts, so you’ll be sure to find a type that fits your personality and still allows you to be in on the trend. Kate Bosworth, Mary Kate and Anne Hathaway are just some of the few Hollywood starlets that are embracing these summer trends.

Today, fashion for girls has become a very important part of their lives. Whether they are in need of a new dress or not, they will surely be tempted to buy those newly designed dresses which are displayed in the local shopping malls. It is true that fashion helps improve one’s overall beauty and personality, but there are certain things that you need to be aware of when deciding which fashion to go with. There are certain basic rules which need to be followed so that you can improve your physical beauty and not damage it.Here are some wonderful fashion tips for girls which they cannot go wrong with.1. One of the first rules of fashion is that you must dress according to the type of body you have. Do not imitate fashion blindly because you definitely don’t want to commit what is called as a “fashion disaster.” Even the most gorgeous women in the world may have certain flaws and these women are smart enough to hide these flaws with appropriate dressing. When buying a new dress, always keep the flaws of your body and your body type in mind. The dress you choose should not only hide your flaws, but at the same time, they should bring out the striking and attractive features in you.2. Girls who have broad shoulders or a heavy bust must wear clothing that will not draw attention to these areas of the body. For those girls who have a heavy top should try wearing tops and blouses with horizontal lines, ‘V’ cut neck and small collars. On the other hand, girls with heavy bottoms should avoid wearing tight dresses. Loose paints that come with low waist are suitable. Loose skirts which have a straight pattern will also work.3. One of the other important fashion tips for girls is the choice of bras. Bras are essential inner wears and you should make the effort not to show those straps. If you choose to wear spaghetti tops, make sure you go with a strapless bra because showing your bra straps as part of your look is not fashionable at all.Other quick fashion tips for girls:- Make up is quite popular as they help enhance the overall physical beauty. When wearing make up, keep it as natural as possible. Avoid using colors like purple, blue and green because they only look good on ramps.- Add some hair glitter or glitter body gel as they add a touch of cuteness- Use small hair accessories that sparkle- Tops and blouses with a little bit of frill will work just fine

There are some basic rules in fashion that can save you nerves and spare you your self-esteem when you’re shopping for a new outfit. Sometimes our goals of slimming for the summer are far fetched and before you know it you’re surrounded by long stems in short skirts. While you might not have the perfect beach body, that doesn’t mean that you can’t pull off the illusion of a slimmer new you. Here are some fashion tips to that will help you embrace your body by learning how hide and how to flaunt.Tip #1 Know Your Body

Being honest about your body type and weight. Don’t buy items in hopes of losing weight someday. Also, don’t chase all trends as must haves in your closet. Make sure that it fits your style and is flattering to your body. For example, I love skinny jeans with tank and pumps, but on me it just doesn’t read in a flattering way. I still wear skinny jeans, but not with flats or heels, I go for boots instead, this helps to balance out my body. I find that a lot of women are in denial about their real weight. This causes them to get clothes in the wrong size, which then causes their goods to be squished in an outfit and screaming for air. This goes for buying the proper bra size. Typically women with a large bust buy undergarments that are too small and fail to give the support that is really needed. A right size bra can do wonders for your fashion sense.Tip #2 Jeans

Know what jeans to go for. Go for mid-rise jeans, they are high enough to cover the love handles so they wont be spilling out. High waisted pants are great at making your waist appear smaller, but they make the bum look far bigger and fuller then it is. So unless that’s the look you’re going for, beware of adding unnecessary weight to your behind. Boot cut or slight flare generally serves as best for a slimming affect. Make sure the bottoms are always a darker shade then your top. The length is an important factor when your shopping for pants. At all cost avoid high water jeans; the hemline should fall to the bottom of the heel of your shoe. Wearing heels often elongates the body and changes your posture. If you choose to wear heels with your pants, make sure that hemline falls to the heel of your pump.Tip#3 Tops

Learn to find flattering tops. Go for tops that are forgiving of your problem areas, not clinging to them and singling them out. Tops that drape and great for hiding the jelly tummy and hips. Sheer, loose tops are feminine and give you breathing room. Stay away form heavy patterns and horizontal lines, these will draw attention and make you appear wider. Learn to show of your goods. Bring attention to your chest and neck by wearing a top with embroidery on neckline. If you have wide hips, make sure the top doesn’t fall at the widest point of your hips, rather just below or above. V-necks are great if you have a shorter neck, they elongate the torso. If you have bigger arms, look for a cap sleeve. If you like your arms, halter-tops bring focus to your arms and shoulders.Tip#4 Skirts

Skirts and dresses bring a certain air of gentleness and femininity. However, the wrong cut and length can make you look frumpy instead of sexy. The hemline of the skirt should always be just above the knee, or below the calf. It should never stop at calf. A-line skirts and dresses are a best fit if you’re trying to hide your hips.
