The industry that revolves around Fashion Clothes can leave you puzzled with its cycles of supply and demand. It is no mystery that every year the big fashion houses presented their new clothing collections, several weeks before the season starts seasonal. At that time there will be a group of eager buyers of the last scream of fashion, who will not resist joining the exclusive consumer vortex at high prices. This custom feature them among their peers, less informed on the latest trends in Fashion Clothes, and also highlight among those unable or unwilling to buy at such high prices. However, stand out and differentiate from the rest of your peers is a motivation that has existed for millennia in the history of man, so what we see today is just the result of a sophisticated network of fashion industry to impose their own terms and maintain a steady demand for its services. In short, the fashion industry does not sell clothes, but sold status, one of the most precious commodities of our modern society.

Thus, establishing a cyclical industry, where some trends that went out of fashion some decades ago, re-imposed almost unchanged. For example, there will be a time when ladies shoes have sharp points. In another period, ladies shoes have rounded edges, and in another year these shoes have a straight tip. The psychological effect that occurs in women changing trends of Fashion Clothes is simply devastating: they could not bear to walk carrying something in abeyance, and very comfortable as what you are currently using. Is that the best motivator psychological pressure for consumption of new trends in Fashion Clothes? No matter the price you might have to pay, nor considering that at the end of the season, prices become very low to the ground. The emotions only exist and have full force at the present time.

So, how is the paradox of those who pay high prices for the Fashion Clothes are a few, and is a low demand for the product that represents status? Later, those who wish to join the new trend will produce a disincentive to those who used the first items of the new trend. This is where a break occurs when fashion become more popular, the result is that the price falls, and the new trend becomes an old trend. Then, higher demand, lower the price. The effect is amazing and because we go through different seasons Clothes Fashion industry can be confident that economic downturns do not depend on or will be influenced by inflation and high rates of dismissals, because consumers will always search for status.

Of course in this equation there is a very important missing element, and should be appointed to clarify the matter. Those are the media and their faces. Without them the Clothes Fashion industry could not thrive. The media are obviously heavy users of new content and brilliant. The best of such content is obtained by what they do and say the most prominent faces of each society. When we speak of “faces” we are just talking about artists, and important individuals. It is they who reflect the new trends to the masses of people, eager to learn about the lives of their idols. It is the fastest way to impose a new dress. The new fashions are first used by the faces of our society.

The Clothes Fashion industry is a fascinating business form worthy of study in depth. It represents one of the great paradoxes of the conventional economy and should serve to change our economic paradigms. At the end of the day, people buy what they want, and do not buy what they need.

If you have calves that are athletic or plus size, you know how frustrating it can be to locate a retailer that sells boots in your size. Most people in your situation are forced to turn to internet sources to find footwear that satisfies their needs. Some online stores have unclear sizes, displaying only the fact that the boots are “extra wide calf boots” but failing to explain the exact measurements corresponding with shoe size. If you want to look fabulous and chic in a beautiful new pair of boots that fit you like a glove, you need to understand what measurements go along with size differentiations.

Wide calf boots are considered the first size option for plus size women or those with athletically-sized calves. A 16- to 18.25-inch measurement is what this size refers to, with shoe sizes ranging from 6M to 12W. This is what you need if you simply require a little extra room for the zipper to close at the top of the boot. If you need a little more room, extra wide calf boots are for you, measuring 17.5 inches for 6M shoes size to 20 inches for size 13WW. For an even roomer selection, super wide calf boot exist with a range of 18 inches to 21 inches for sizes 6M to 13WW.

There are many different styles that you can find in extra wide calf boots. Simply because you are unable to purchase stylish boots from a traditional retailer should not mean you are forced to live without the styles you enjoy the most. Since a fairly precise measurement of your calf is so important to finding the perfect product, you need to purchase from a retailer that gives you all the information you need on every design so you can make the right selection. This is particularly important if you are purchasing from an over-seas location, but no matter where you live, returns are frustrating and you obviously want to avoid them at all costs.

You may become attached to a boot design with embossed material at the top and an elegant buckle. Boots for formal occasions abound at the right online retail store. Casual-wear boots are also highly in fashion. Different materials range from weather-resistant leather to ultra soft suede. Wear your fashionable footwear to the movies, out to dinner with your significant other or lunch with the girls. No matter the event, you can show off your extra wide calf boots in comfort and unparalleled style.

Giving birth is an experience a lot of women cherish forever. The news of pregnancy is a joyful occasion for both husband and wife, with both eagerly awaiting the birth of their child.

Last week my son told me, to my great delight, that his wife was pregnant. My husband and I had been overjoyed and extremely emotional, grandparents-to-be at last. I have always been relatively fashion conscious and absolutely love to see little ones in designer clothes. Since this would be our first grandchild we thought we would push the boat out and search for designer clothes, toys and gifts for babies, via the world wide web.

Not knowing the sex of the baby I ordered uni-sex clothes which would suit either. With such fantastic designers as Mini Vanilla, Olive and Moss and Aunty Ollie, I couldnt withstand placing an order. Their styles and colours are both unusual, attractive and very fashionable.

With the help of my husband I began to compile a baby clothes shopping list and was delighted to read that free delivery was available on orders, over twenty five pounds. Also available if I signed up was a newsletter from the company containing their various producers, products as well as fantastic existing promotions and substantial discounts.

My son and daughter-in-law called at our house the other day, I couldnt wait to display them the fabulous website I had found. They both agreed that the designer clothes were unusual and relatively eye-catching, really they loved the clothes so much, they also placed orders. Unisex outfits are great with all-in-one garments coming in bright colours and soft materials, perfect for babies. You can also buy newborn gift sets, inside are a Babygro, mittens, a hat, vest and a bib, all extremely useful.

Mini Vanilla designer baby clothes especially caught my eye, as I had heard they create and produce clothing to an extremely high standard. I placed my order immediately and within a few days received the most beautiful designer baby clothes I had ever seen. Shopping on-line is so easy with step-by-step instructions being provided.

We received the good news and rushed to the hospital. My daughter-in-law had given birth to a beautiful little boy who is completely gorgeous. The clothes I have purchased should be ideal for him, relatively comfortable to wear and I know he will look fantastic in them. The all-in-one hooded romper suit fits him quite well; he looks so snug and warm in it. So for mums-to-be and grandmothers like me, this website is first class for buying designer baby clothes.

Every day I look on the website, sometimes to the annoyance of my husband, and I do intend to buy more designer clothes for our beautiful grandson. Olive and Moss are fabulous designers for kids wear, from newborns to toddlers; there is so much to pick from.

How To Be Indie

First of all, if you need to read a guide on the internet to become indie, then you have a long way to go. But luckily for you, you were smart enough to come to me, lumberjack. Throughout my years of clear cutting virgin forests and other unsustainable logging, I have come to be somewhat of an expert on indie culture. And I’m going to pass it on to you!My indie fashion advice is topknotch if I do say so myself.

How to Dress Indie

Indie Fashion:

You don’t have to “Suffer for Fashion” like of Montreal to be indie. Rather, indie clothing is some of the best clothing available today!

The basics of dressing indie:
Tops:
Cardigans, ironic indie tees, flannel shirts, plain fitted t-shirts, vintage hoodies

Bottoms:
Skinny jeans, corduroys, skirts, fitted jeans, etc.

Shoes:
Converse, Vans, Nike Dunks, Moccasins, Boat/Deck shoes, “Vintage” Adidas and Puma

Outerwear:
Corduroy jackets, Members jackets, vintage leather, peacoats

Accessories:
Bracelets, necklaces, pins, headphones, interesting bags

Alright, now that we have the basics down I will delve deeper into indie fashion.

Indie Tops

I would stay away from cardigans if you’re a guy. Though they are considered indie, they also make you look like a grandma. Girls will say they look good on you, but what they are really implying is that you remind them of granny back home. You can be indie without being stripped of your sexuality, so guys just say not to cardigans. Cardigans are fine on girls, however.

Flannel is the epitome of indie in my humble (ya right lol) opinion. To truly be indie you need to stock up on whatever flannel/plaid you can find. It’s great buttoned up, or unbuttoned over your favorite ironic indie shirt.

Fitted solid-color t-shirts and vintage t-shirts/hoodies are indie as well. Target has some great solid-tees, so you don’t have to spend much. For the vintage, check out your local vintage retailers and thriftshops.
Indie Bottoms

You don’t have to wear skinny jeans to be indie if you’re a guy, but if you’re a girl and they are flattering then skinny jeans are practically a must. Guys can go for anything that is fitted well, just stay away from baggy carpenter’s and unflattering styles. Levi’s 511 are good.

Corduroy is great, and will keep you warm in the cold winter months. Stores like H&M or Urban Outfitters typically have a good selection of cords. Again, thriftshops may have some gems as well.

Girls, for skirts anything that looks good on you is A OK!!
Indie Shoes

Okay, shoes are where it is at!! I’ll start with Converse. Though hipsters might complain that Converse has sold out since they are owned by Nike, they are still very fashionable and look good on everyone! Converse Allstars that is. Stay clear of that Converse Onestar bull that Target tries to push on you, and stick to the classic Chuck Taylors. Emos might have hijacked Converse, but your indie self can pull them off.

Vans, quite frankly, are the espresso. Vans Authentics and Vans Off The Walls are both completely viables candidates for indie shoewear. You can get slipons in almost any colors, as well as plaid and checkered! Check out the Zapatos del Barco, those are some of my favorite.

Moccasins and boat shoes add a touch of class to your indie wardrobe. Moccasins can be purchased online, just Google them. Zappos has some nice ones in stock. As for boat shoes, Sperry Topsiders are wonderful. It’s rumored that Moses, the indiest guy who ever lived, owned a pair. Aside from lumberjacking, sailing is one of the most manliest professions and boat shoes just scream “Hey I’m indie, I’m a man, and I’m proud!” That’s not to say that girls can’t where boat shoes, they look cute on ya’ll too!!

Lastly, both Puma and Adidas have “Vintage” lines with lots of colors. Green retro kicks are quite indie.

Indie Outerwear

Basically, just wear something fairly noncommercial. Peacots, Member’s Only jackets, vintage leather jackets… it’s all pretty self explanatory. Plus, if you’re feeling adventurous, you could even rock a poncho – just like the man with no name (most bad indie who ever indied).

Indie Accessories

Accessories can make or break your indie wardrobe, so listen carefully. Girls, you’re on your own as far as bracelets and necklaces go. I’m a dude, I have no idea. Try Etsy.com for some handcrafted jewlery.

Messenger bags are preferable to backpacks. You can get them in all sorts of materials and styles, my favorite being the ones Timbuk2 produces. Decorate these bags with all manner of pins and schwag you accumulate from attending indie shows!

Headphones! Nothing screams “I love music!” more than a nice pair of hipster headphones. Try to avoid SkullCandy, as it has become a bit too mainstream. Lesser known electronics manufacturers like Denon or high-tech fancy ones like Bose are both fine, however. If you can find them, a stylish pair of vintage headphones will work wonders. They’d probably raise your indie cred over 9000.

Indie Fashion Don’ts

Whatever you do, don’t shop at retailers like Abercrombie, American Eagle, Hollister, or Aeropostale. These stores represent everything the indie culture opposes. Even if American Eagle tries to lure you in with some Foals tunes, you must resist!

Indie Music

The most important part of being indie is becoming a fan of the music. If you dislike indie music then stop reading, because I’m trying my hardest not to turn you into an indie poser. While technically indie music can be any independently produced music, I am going to focus more on indie pop (twee) and indie rock.

Some bands to get you started are of Montreal, The Shins, Neutral Milk Hotel, MGMT, and Architecture in Helsinki.

Finding local and lesser known bands is a must. Luckily we have the internet! Make use of websites such as thesixtyone, the pretentious pitchforkmedia, StumbleUpon, and even Last.fm.

Offline, you have other options. Watch MTV U for some ideas (though most of the music is garbage like Eminem) and listen to college radio stations. If you live in any decent urban area you will probably have some indie radio stations as well.

Become a part of the local music scene! Even if it’s not indie music, it’s a start. If there is no scene to become a part of, then I’m sorry, but you need to get the hell out of that podunk town. Move to a college town or large urban city like New York. You can’t live in a better indie locale.

Indie Personality

Next you need to work on the indie attitude. First and foremost, never refer to yourself as indie. Doing so will cost you major indie cred. Don’t mention that you read an online guide on how to become indie either. That’s just lame to talk about.

The indie attitude is all about having a cool demeanor. Be random, be fun! BE YOURSELF, but cooler. If you are quiet and introverted, don’t just be the shy kid in the corner. Be the mysterious badass, like Clint Eastwood! If you’re extraverted and outgoing, then just talk to other people! If the conversation turns to music, then use this as an opportunity to drop names of indie bands to establish some indie cred.

Learning an instrument helps, especially if you’re quiet. You can just bring your guitar places and strum a few chords. The chicks or studs will be all over you, I guarantee it. :-)

Parting Message

Hopefully now you have some idea of what being indie is about. Just remember, never refer to yourself as indie, let your new indie threads do the talking. Head to some indie shows and make a lot of indie friends!Always look indie in the process!

Vaya con Dios!

There are few other examples in American culture where a way of dressing is so linked to an identity and way of life. American Cowboy culture is identifiable around the world and has expanded to mean so much more than a simple cattle herder. At one time western wear was a way of life; the cowboy hat, jeans, pointy boots and uniquely western shirts for men meant that a he earned his pay by working on a farm or ranch feeding livestock, branding cattle, mending fences, clearing brush and moving livestock to a greener pasture. A hardworking cowboy knew how to read the weather, sling a gun, light a fire, bandage an injury and survive out on the open range with a buck knife, a little luck and not much else.

Cowboys are not defined by particular words, but by a steely gaze, clenched jaw and unique fashion sense. If a man wore western clothes, it meant that everything in his wardrobe served a function to his job. A hat to protect from the sun and rain, a bandana to clean the sweat from his brow and keep the dust storm out of his face, a pair of high top pointed boots to keep his feet in the stirrups, sturdy jeans and western shirts for men to hold up to the long hours and days on horseback and all kinds of weather, snags and brush. Western wear was made to survive anything the day might bring, and the definitive style has translated into the ultimate look for the hardworking, freedom loving American.

With the Spaghetti western, Hollywood took cowboy culture into the popular spotlight and suddenly everyone wanted to have the cowboy look (minus the cows of course). Western clothes took on a romantic and in fact clich representation of the honorable, lonesome man on the range, beating down malicious thugs and riding off into the sunset. Western wear and the cowboy look is a genre into itself and look translates across a whole range of individuals. Bankers, lawyers, real estate brokers, fashion models and the kid up the block who thinks a cowboy hat looks cool all want to tap into the cowboy mystique.

Yet even with all the efficiencies and comforts of modern life there are still people who would rather spend a day out in the pasture mending a fence than pushing paper confined to a cubicle in a high-rise office building. People who want functional western shirts for men don’t define themselves by their western clothes, but the lifestyle it represents, and the blood and sweat that is washed out of them at the end of a hard day’s work.
