Is there a plus size bra in your lingerie collection? Recently, a study showed that 70-85% of women’s bras are the wrong size. Getting measured for a well-fitting bra isn’t embarrassing. Usually, you won’t even need to take off your shirt. Most plus size clothing stores have someone on staff that’s trained to find your bra size, and the perfect bra for you.
It’s nearly time to set forth on your large size clothes shopping spree. Consider the events in your future. Are there any weddings on your calendar or maybe a cocktail party at work? This is the time to buy that perfect large size outfit.
Take the time to select a dress that’s just right for you now that you can choose from so many large size fashions. Perhaps you would look best in an elegant gown with empress sleeves or maybe you’d enjoy a sexy little short-skirted shift. You may be a larger woman, but you needn’t wear garments down to your ankles because of that.
Do not fear joining completely different eras and designs. Purchase items you enjoy wearing, and that complement your body type. Bigger ladies can more easily wear daring dresses and show more cleavage. That can be emphasized with showy necklaces to draw the eye to that area.
You should make sure to be honest with yourself. For instance, simply try clothes on and ignore the size numbers. If the item fits and feels good, buy it. Don’t be upset if you are a size 18 and the item says a size 20. Remember, you are not your dress size, so make sure to buy what feels and looks best on you.

Today, fashion for girls has become a very important part of their lives. Whether they are in need of a new dress or not, they will surely be tempted to buy those newly designed dresses which are displayed in the local shopping malls. It is true that fashion helps improve one’s overall beauty and personality, but there are certain things that you need to be aware of when deciding which fashion to go with. There are certain basic rules which need to be followed so that you can improve your physical beauty and not damage it.Here are some wonderful fashion tips for girls which they cannot go wrong with.1. One of the first rules of fashion is that you must dress according to the type of body you have. Do not imitate fashion blindly because you definitely don’t want to commit what is called as a “fashion disaster.” Even the most gorgeous women in the world may have certain flaws and these women are smart enough to hide these flaws with appropriate dressing. When buying a new dress, always keep the flaws of your body and your body type in mind. The dress you choose should not only hide your flaws, but at the same time, they should bring out the striking and attractive features in you.2. Girls who have broad shoulders or a heavy bust must wear clothing that will not draw attention to these areas of the body. For those girls who have a heavy top should try wearing tops and blouses with horizontal lines, ‘V’ cut neck and small collars. On the other hand, girls with heavy bottoms should avoid wearing tight dresses. Loose paints that come with low waist are suitable. Loose skirts which have a straight pattern will also work.3. One of the other important fashion tips for girls is the choice of bras. Bras are essential inner wears and you should make the effort not to show those straps. If you choose to wear spaghetti tops, make sure you go with a strapless bra because showing your bra straps as part of your look is not fashionable at all.Other quick fashion tips for girls:- Make up is quite popular as they help enhance the overall physical beauty. When wearing make up, keep it as natural as possible. Avoid using colors like purple, blue and green because they only look good on ramps.- Add some hair glitter or glitter body gel as they add a touch of cuteness- Use small hair accessories that sparkle- Tops and blouses with a little bit of frill will work just fine
There are some basic rules in fashion that can save you nerves and spare you your self-esteem when you’re shopping for a new outfit. Sometimes our goals of slimming for the summer are far fetched and before you know it you’re surrounded by long stems in short skirts. While you might not have the perfect beach body, that doesn’t mean that you can’t pull off the illusion of a slimmer new you. Here are some fashion tips to that will help you embrace your body by learning how hide and how to flaunt.Tip #1 Know Your Body
Being honest about your body type and weight. Don’t buy items in hopes of losing weight someday. Also, don’t chase all trends as must haves in your closet. Make sure that it fits your style and is flattering to your body. For example, I love skinny jeans with tank and pumps, but on me it just doesn’t read in a flattering way. I still wear skinny jeans, but not with flats or heels, I go for boots instead, this helps to balance out my body. I find that a lot of women are in denial about their real weight. This causes them to get clothes in the wrong size, which then causes their goods to be squished in an outfit and screaming for air. This goes for buying the proper bra size. Typically women with a large bust buy undergarments that are too small and fail to give the support that is really needed. A right size bra can do wonders for your fashion sense.Tip #2 Jeans
Know what jeans to go for. Go for mid-rise jeans, they are high enough to cover the love handles so they wont be spilling out. High waisted pants are great at making your waist appear smaller, but they make the bum look far bigger and fuller then it is. So unless that’s the look you’re going for, beware of adding unnecessary weight to your behind. Boot cut or slight flare generally serves as best for a slimming affect. Make sure the bottoms are always a darker shade then your top. The length is an important factor when your shopping for pants. At all cost avoid high water jeans; the hemline should fall to the bottom of the heel of your shoe. Wearing heels often elongates the body and changes your posture. If you choose to wear heels with your pants, make sure that hemline falls to the heel of your pump.Tip#3 Tops
Learn to find flattering tops. Go for tops that are forgiving of your problem areas, not clinging to them and singling them out. Tops that drape and great for hiding the jelly tummy and hips. Sheer, loose tops are feminine and give you breathing room. Stay away form heavy patterns and horizontal lines, these will draw attention and make you appear wider. Learn to show of your goods. Bring attention to your chest and neck by wearing a top with embroidery on neckline. If you have wide hips, make sure the top doesn’t fall at the widest point of your hips, rather just below or above. V-necks are great if you have a shorter neck, they elongate the torso. If you have bigger arms, look for a cap sleeve. If you like your arms, halter-tops bring focus to your arms and shoulders.Tip#4 Skirts
Skirts and dresses bring a certain air of gentleness and femininity. However, the wrong cut and length can make you look frumpy instead of sexy. The hemline of the skirt should always be just above the knee, or below the calf. It should never stop at calf. A-line skirts and dresses are a best fit if you’re trying to hide your hips.
While I am not a fashion icon, I do have a sense of style. Even if I did not have a sense, of style, I still have an opinion. I know that as plus size women, you may already be insecure about your weight. The key is to make clothing choices that will make you look good. If you are already insecure, the last thing you want to do is where clothing that will create unwanted or unflattering attention. I have created a list fashion tips that will help you look good will you work to reach your goal weight.Tip #1 – Wear The Right Bra
If you top heavy, please be sure to where the right bra. It should be one that will lift and give your breast a natural round shape. This can usually be accomplished with an underwire bra. It is extremely important that you buy the right size to ensure a comfortable fit and to avoid bulging. Buying a good quality bra is also important. Try the bra on before your purchase it to make sure it will give your the desired look.Tip #2 – Select Long (length) Shirts
This is a popular fashion faux pas for plus size women. While finding a shirt in the right size may be difficult at times, that is not an excuse to buy a shirt that is too short. For some odd reason, some women will buy a shirt that barely hangs below waist level. As a result, when she raises her arms or bends over, her flesh is exposed. I am sure these women do not want to show off their love handles. The avoid this issue, buy longer shirts. The length of your shirt should at least come to the middle of your hips. This will give your several extra inches to work with. It also allows you to move without the fear of exposing your flesh to a group of gawking onlookers.Tip #3 – Avoid Low Riders
For years, we have seen pot belly men walking around with their pants snuggly buckled below their bulging belly. Over the past few years, we have seen a similar phenomena occur with women. Mostly due, in part to the popularity of low riding pants. While the style looks great when you have the waist line for it, it less flattening when you have the “muffin top” effect. Buy pants that will fasten around your waist at the belly button level. Yes, that may mean buying a bigger size, but the you will look better and the fit is probably more comfortable.Tip #4 – Avoid Extra Tight Clothes
I know that it is hard for some of us to admit that we have gained a little weight. We still hang on to the idea of wearing tight clothes that shows off our figures. The problem is that every shape is not flattering. Some curves are just in the wrong places and honestly are not deserving of the spotlight. Showing every lump and bump of your figure leaves very little to the imagination. Avoid these “TMI” moments by buying looser fitting clothes, that will complement your figure.Tip #5 – Highlight Your Best Features
We have all heard the phrase “focus on the positive”. Well the same idea works with our choice of clothing. Highlight your best assets, instead of bringing atttention to your less flattering features. If your arms are your best features, don’t be afraid to show them. Find the clothes, colors and accessories that complement you. Take pride in yourself and how your present yourself to the world. When you do this, you overall appearance is improved. You will feel more confident and it will show.
